Q.How is 9H Ceramic Coating different from normal waxing or Teflon?
Wax and Teflon sit on top of the paint and wash off in a few weeks. 9H Ceramic Coating chemically bonds with the factory clear coat, forming a semi-permanent, hardened glass-like layer that lasts for years and offers superior resistance to scratches and chemicals.
Q.Will this coating protect my car from all scratches?
The '9H' refers to the hardness scale, making the surface highly resistant to minor wash-induced swirl marks, light webbing, and environmental damage (like bird droppings and acid rain). However, it is not bulletproof and will not prevent deep key scratches or accidental dents.
Q.How long does the 9H Ceramic Coating take to cure?
The initial curing takes about 24 hours, during which the car should not be exposed to water or rain. The full hardening process takes about 7 days. We advise not washing the car with any chemicals or hard water during this first week.
Q.Do I need to provide a covered parking space for this service?
Yes. Because ceramic coating requires a controlled environment free from direct sunlight, flying dust, and unexpected rain during the application and initial curing phase, a covered or basement parking area is highly recommended for the best results.
